i've been gone a little while. on some cosmic pilgrim oddysy of sorts, i suppose. i've had some out-of-this-world awe-inspiring moments in the last few weeks. and i've had some really craptastic falls. and as is my nature, i fall back into retreat mode, when i feel all swallowed whole.
i've been by here a few times, briefly. but my heart hasn't been in it. more like my heart hasn't had the time or the energy to really get it all out. i think for awhile now, i've been hitting 239 miles per hour, so it was only fair and fitting that i have a blow-out.

so while i'm kinda stretching out the sore, bruised spots, allow me to celebrate a compiled "happiness is" kind of list.

*Gods comfort and quiet and blessings poured out
*breathing room
*being present
*a strawberry limeade with cranberry from sonic
*2 of the people i love most in the world
*beautiful sunsets
*my mom
*a "necklace from your mama is better than diamonds"
*care packages from home
*money, unexpected money. more than just enough, and being able to buy what we need. actual stocked groceries in the cupboards and freezer. gas in the car.
*jasons mom
*new friends. good friends. good conversation.
*picnics with nature
*the pride of a job well done and no more squeaky brakes
*my sister
*time together
*ebb and flow
*fresh fruit/veggies from a farmers market
* the $3.50 show to wall-e and the significance in its meaning
*asheville
*a squeaky clean house
*yummy candles
*an awesome sermon
*bojangles seasoned fries
*warm days and cool nights
